Dr. Zhaohui Wang received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, in 2013, and joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan Technological University since then. Her research is in the areas of signal processing, wireless communications and networking, with a major focus on underwater wireless communication networks. She co-authored the first book on OFDM for underwater acoustic communications. Dr. Wang received the 2013 Women of Innovation Award in Collegian Innovation and Leadership by Connecticut Technology Council, the 2014 Outstanding Academic Achievement Award from the University of Connecticut, and the Outstanding Service Award from the tenth ACM WUWNET conference in 2015. She was selected as an Outstanding Reviewer by the Editorial Board of IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering in 2012, 2013-2014, 2015, and 2016, respectively. Dr. Wang is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award in 2017.
