Jianhui Yue joined the faculty of Michigan Technological University as an assistant professor in 2017. Before joining Michigan Tech, he was a visiting assistant professor Miami University from August 2015 to May 2017. In addition, he was a PostDoc at Auburn University and University of Maine respectively. He obtained his PhD. degree from University of Maine, in computer engineering in 2012. Before pursuing his PhD. degree, Jianhui was a lecturer at College of Software Engineering, Sichuan University, China from 2003 to 2006. He received M.S. from Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China, in 2003, in computer science. His research interests include optimizing the computer system design, especially for memory and data storage, from computer architecture and operating system perspectives, and system optimizations for big data processing. His research work is being sponsored by NSF.
